Stefano Malinverno is pleased to announce its participation to ROMA ARTE IN NUVOLA 2024. On this occasion we are glad to present a series of works accurately selected in order to continue the artistic research and particular interest of the gallery towards the NYC’s art scene and in general American movements like Lyrical Abstraction, Abstract Expressionism, Color-Field Painting and Pop Art. The aim is to create a dialogue between different poetic visions of several artists who shared, in one way or another, the same fervent artistic milieu.

Works on display by Mary Bauermeister, Tony Berlant, Giorgio Cavallon, Al Held, Ray Johnson, Robert Natkin, Beverly Pepper, Larry Rivers, Ludwig Sander, Angelo Savelli and Richard Stankiewicz.

The showcase captures the essence of the New York art scene of the post-war years. Each artist here represents a facet of the era’s spirit: its boldness, its diversity, and its constant search for new forms of expression.

The booth will be completed with works by artist Peter Dreher (1932-2020), showcasing his iconic glass paintings, a testament to his meticulous exploration of light, reflection, and the passage of time.
