Stefano Malinverno is pleased to announce its participation to ROMA ARTE IN NUVOLA 2024. On this occasion we are glad to present a series of works accurately selected in order to continue the artistic research and particular interest of the gallery towards the NYC’s art scene and in general American movements like Lyrical Abstraction, Abstract Expressionism, Color-Field Painting and Pop Art. The aim is to create a dialogue between different poetic visions of several artists who shared, in one way or another, the same fervent artistic milieu.

The presentation celebrates the dynamic artistic environment of mid-20th-century New York, a city that served as a melting pot of innovative ideas and creative exchange. The works on display showcase a diverse range of poetic visions, from bold explorations of color and form to groundbreaking conceptual practices, highlighting the spirit of experimentation and collaboration that defined the era.
Among the featured artists are Mary Bauermeister, Tony Berlant, Giorgio Cavallon, Al Held, Ray Johnson, Robert Natkin, Beverly Pepper, Larry Rivers, Ludwig Sander, Angelo Savelli, and Richard Stankiewicz. Each of these artists contributes a unique perspective to the artistic dialogues of the time, reflecting the diversity and vitality of the New York art world.
